Louisiana-based rapper Lil Snupe, who only recently signed to Meek Mill's Dreamchasers Records, has died. He was found dead and reports indicate that he was shot. He was just 18.

Details are scarce as of press time, but his manager issued a tweet and a photo (posted above) confirming the sad news that the young rapper had passed away.

In a dream-come-true scenario, within 20 minutes of receiving the music, Meek called Snupe and snatched him up to be a part of his label roster. It’s widely assumed that an upstart giving a demo to an established act won’t lead to much, and that the material will never be listened to. But this case proves that notion wrong.

Snupe recently dropped the ‘R.N.I.C.’ mixtape, as well.
