Chicago-based rapper Lil Reese has some seriously mounting legal problems.

Reese was arrested at 4 a.m. the morning of Sun., April 28, after he was found sleeping in his car in the Fuller Park neighborhood of the Windy City. A warrant had been issued by Champaign County for his arrest late last week.

Lil Reese -- known as Tavares Taylor to his mama and on legal documents -- was picked up at the 4400 block of South Wells St. A cop had noticed the rapper, who is signed to Island Def Jam, sleeping in his ride.

The previous arrest warrant stemmed back to an incident that occurred in February 2012. Reese, 20, was wanted for an array of charges, ranging from criminal trespass, mob action and battery. Further details about that date and incident are unclear at press time, and Champaign County officials could not comment as the rapper is not in their custody presently.

The rapper, a part of the GBE (Glory Boyz Entertainment) crew, is reportedly being held on $100,000 bond.

Lil Reese has made headlines for his troubles before. Footage of him punching and stomping on a young woman at a house party was revealed in late 2012. He apologized for his actions on Twitter at the time, according to Hip-Hop Wired.

The rapper also pleaded guilty to charges of burglary in May 2010. He was outfitted with two years of probation. He was also stopped on April 13 in Chicago, charged with a plethora of minor traffic offenses, including driving without insurance, not having a driver's license and not signaling.
