Rapper Lil' Flip was arrested and charged with weapon and gun possession Wednesday (Dec. 26) morning in Mansfield, La.

The Houston native, born Wesley Eric Weston, was caught speeding on Interstate 49 in DeSoto Parish, La., traveling at 86 mph in a 75 mph zone. When authorities pulled Flip over and searched his 2010 Dodge Challenger, in which he was riding along with passenger Olanza Sanders, marijuana and a rifle were found.

According to the Shreveport Times, Flip was charged with third-offense possession of marijuana, possession of a firearm in the presence of a controlled dangerous substance and speeding. Sanders' charges include illegal possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Sanders was released on $25,000 bail while Lil' Flip is still behind bars as of this morning -- a $35,000 bond has been set for him, reports MTV. Both Flip, 31, and Sanders have been arrested for narcotics possession in the past.

The rapper, who had beef with T.I. in his heyday, is known for a series of hits from 2004, such as 'Game Over (Flip),' and 'Sunshine,' off his platinum-selling album, 'U Gotta Feel Me.'
