Kendrick Lamar is still on his promotional grind in support of his celebrated album, 'good kid, m.A.A.d city.' The rapper was back in his native Los Angeles for a late-night performance on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!'

The Compton rapper took over the outdoor stage on Thursday's program to perform two songs, 'Poetic Justice' and 'Bitch, Don't Kill My Vibe.'

For the first song, K. Dot, backed by his TDE band, delivered a jazzy rendition of his Janet Jackson-sampled hit. Dressed in a white jacket, a deep V-neck T-shirt and black jeans, Lamar had the audience raising their hands high in the sky.

For the second performance, Lamar kept the mood breezy and easy with his clean rendition of 'Bitch, Don’t Kill My Vibe.' The rapper did ABC censors a favor by changing the word "bitch" to "trick." The switch-up didn't dilute the song's overall message.

Lamar's performance comes as he prepares to hit music festivals hard this summer. He'll join his Black Hippy crew to invade the Paid Dues Festival, Yahoo! Music Fest and Downtown Music Festival, among many others. So be on the look out for Kendrick Lamar's cool hip-hop vibes at a venue near you.
