Kendrick Lamar wowed audiences with his performance of "Untitled 2" on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Thursday (Jan. 8). The jazzy new song is from his 11-time Grammy-nominated album, To Pimp a Butterfly.

Backed by a live band, K.Dot chronicles the woes of money. "Two tears in the bucket I cry with you / But I could never lie with you / I could never afford not to afford / I could never put my plans to the side with you," he raps in a shirt that reads "with love."

Later on he tells the story of a woman who gets caught up trying to obtain the green. "My home girl got a credit card scam / She got a scholarship to college but she don’t give a damn / Intuition got a black woman wishin' / She sayin' this on the phone with the noodles in the pan," he rhymes.

But it's towards the end of the performance where Kendrick goes off with energetic and exaggerated gestures to boot. He also gave himself a new nickname Cornrow Kenny.

"Q just bought a brand new McLaren / Rock-a-lack about to buy the projects / Rashad got his son dripping in gold / Me I’m ‘bout to let my hair down the holes," he spits.

Even Charlamagne tha God agreed that the performance was dope. "Don't too many things sounds better than Kendrick Lamar with a live band......," he tweeted.

The unreleased song comes after the To Pimp a Butterfly creator performed "Untitled" on The Colbert Report last year leaving fans to think it may be a follow-up.
