It’s 2016 and Kanye West is feeling himself. After a successful run in the sneaker game, Yeezy is taking great pleasure in the fact that he jumped over the Jumpman with his Adidas Yeezy Boost shoes. On his new song “Facts,” West spits braggadocios rhymes while name-dropping several celebrity names in the process.

Over the Metro Boomin and Southside-produced beat, which is clearly inspired by “Jumpman” (from Drake and Future's collaborative album, What a Time to Be Alive), West spits lyrical shots at Nike and boasts about beating the sneaker giant with his Adidas Yeezy Boost sneaker collection

"Yeezy, Yeezy, Yeezy, I feel so accomplished / I done talked a lot of s--- but I just did the numbers," he raps, adding, "Herzog and Adidas, man you know they love it / If Nike ain't have Drizzy, man they wouldn't have nothin', woo! / If Nike ain't have Don C, man they wouldn't have nothin', ooh! / But I'm all for the family, tell 'em get your money."

And for good measure, West adds this zinger: “I ain’t dropped an album but those shoes went platinum."

Elsewhere, the rapper-producer adds celebrity names to the mix who also made headlines in 2015. He spits, "Do anybody feel bad for Bill Cosby? / Did he forget the names just like Steve Harvey? (Yo!) / Tell Adidas that we need a million in production (Yo!) / I done told y'all, all I needed was the infrastructure / Now we hottest in the streets, it ain't no discussion."

West ends the song on a elegiac note, giving a shout out to the late Chicago radio personality DJ Timbuck2 who passed away just days before Christmas 2015.

Overall, this Kanye West talking his s---. When he was spazzing out on Sway in the Morning in 2013, we didn't see his vision. Now that it's come to fruition, it's time for him to gloat. So let him brag.

Hopefully, now that he's conquered the sneaker game, West will finally release his long awaited Swish album in 2016.
