Jay-Z, ‘The Blueprint 3′ – Great Rap Albums That Leaked

Even the great Jay-Z experiences an album leak. Originally scheduled for release on Sept. 11, 2009 -- to coincide with the debut of the 2001 original 'Blueprint' -- an early leak forced Hov to move the project ahead of schedule on Sept. 8.

The Brooklyn emcee protects the integrity of the game here by challenging peers to stop riding the wheels of trends till they fall off with 'D.O.A.'

But for the salty young'ins calling him a hater, Jay applauds fellow emcees like Andre 3000 and DMX on 'Star is Born,' while putting his protege J.Cole on. The record that had even Anne Hathaway singing along was the Alicia Keys-assisted 'Empire State of Mind.'
