Jay-Z lyrically fought back against the haters who had something to say about his recent trip to Havana, Cuba with his wifey, Beyonce on the track ‘Open Letter.’ Hov even mentioned President Obama on the track, which forced White House Press Secretary Jay Carney to address the lyrics when a reporter inquired about whether or not the White House gave the couple clearance to travel to Cuba.

Hov raps, “Boy from the hood but got White House clearance... Obama said, 'Chill, you gonna get me impeached’ / We don’t need this s--- anyway, chill with me on the beach.’" Welp! Carney wants everyone to know that Obama was not in contact with Jayonce when it came to the Cuba trip. In fact, the U.S. Treasury Department handled the whole debacle.

“I guess nothing rhymes with Treasury,” Carney told the reporter in the White House press briefing room after she presented him with the song's lyrics. He also stated that ‘Open Letter’ is “a song” and the president "did not communicate with Jay-Z over this trip."

Who knew celebrating a wedding anniversary in Cuba would create so much controversy? Watch the video of the press conference below to see the reporter recite the lyrics.
