Jay-Z Hangs Out With Lena Dunham’s Mom

Jay-Z may have a surprising new friend in 'Girls' star Lena Dunham's mom.

Lena's mother, artist Laurie Simmons, was at the Pace Gallery in New York City yesterday for Jay's 'Picasso Baby' video shoot, reports Huffington Post.

Lena took to Twitter to share her glee. "I hope Jay-Z really gets what's special about my mother," she tweeted along with, "I wish I could tell you why my mom is with Jay-Z right now."

Huff Po says that Jay and Lena's mama are no strangers. In 2010, Hov bought one of the artist's photographs of a black-and-white pistol attached to a woman's legs. Apparently, the Brooklyn rhymer exchanged the art piece later for an image of a perfume bottle with a woman's legs at the request of Beyonce.
