Jason Derulo Celebrates Release of ‘The Other Side’ With Lyric Video

It’s been two years since ‘Future History,’ but Jason Derulo fans no longer have to wait for new material from the R&B popstar. ‘The Other Side,’ Derulo’s first single off his upcoming album, is an upbeat pop track that will surely make everyone get on the dance floor. Sounding a bit like a track that Chris Brown would record, Derulo sings about his relationship taking the next step. But it’s not the same kind of romantic step that one would think. This one seems to go to the bedroom.

“Tonight we’ll just get drunk / Disturb the peace / Bind your hands all over me / And then you bite your lip, whisper and say, ‘We’re going all the way,” he delivers.

To celebrate the release of ‘The Other Side’ on iTunes today, Derulo dropped a 90-second lyric video about. But you can hear the whole song below.
