Jarvis – R&B Singers to Watch in 2013

Jarvis has seen many roadblocks as an artist but 2013 may just be his year. At 15, the Tulsa, Okla., native was signed to So So Def and had a single out called 'Radio.' He later connected with Disturbing tha Peace Records, after his development as an artist fell through at his previous label. This yielded the track 'Pretty Girl' featuring Ludacris in 2011. No luck at that label, Jarvis decided to take the independent route to follow his creative endeavors.

Now at 23, the singer recently dropped his mixtape 'Heartache,' which led him to sign with Capital Records. With his single 'Make a Little Room' getting moderate radio play, and his debut album in the works, Jarvis is finally getting a chance to make his mark.
