Sad news J. Cole fans. The Roc Nation rhyme-spitter announced on New Year's Eve (Dec. 31) that he's pushing back the release date of his second album, 'Born Sinner.' The set was originally due on his birthday, Jan. 28, but it looks like it won't arrive then.

During an interview with PopStop TV, Hollywood Cole said his album will most likely miss the due date. "Nah, it's not going to make Jan. 28, it's going to be a little later than that," he shares. "I needed more time for it to get done."

When asked what he's going to surprise fans with on his sophomore LP, Cole seemed perplexed. "I don't know, you know, I don't even know what they are going to feel," he states. "I hope they are going to love it. I can't tell, I hope they love everything about it."

Cole, who recently graced the cover of RESPECT. magazine, released the socially conscious track 'Miss America' in November. The North Carolina emcee also drop the end-of-the-world banger '2012.'

No word on when J. Cole will drop his second effort, but you know the old saying: good things come to those who wait.
