Compton emcee Ice Cube has always been known to speak on the troubles and the social ills of growing up poor, black and in the inner city. But on his third solo album, 'The Predator,' he switched his content up a bit.

In February of 1993, Cube released 'It Was a Good Day,' to rave reviews. In the song, the rapper breaks down the perfect day -- for him at least. From a homemade breakfast without pork to seeing the Good Year blimp announce his "pimp" status, Cube details every moment. The thump of the Isley Brothers 'Footsteps in the Dark' gave the track an even more laid-back appeal.
