During an Atlanta court hearing on Monday (May 14), Gucci Mane pleaded not guilty to an aggravated assault charge stemming from a fight in which he allegedly hit a soldier over the head with a champagne bottle.

An unidentified victim claims that when he asked the ‘Lemonade’ rapper for an autograph he was assaulted with the bottle. The soldier needed 10 stitches to close the wound on his head and is now suffering from bad headaches.

According to Mane’s attorney, Drew Findling, prosecutors don’t have any evidence that implicates the rapper to the crime outside of the alleged victim’s criminal report.

“He’s out on bond, just going about his life,” Findling told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Gucci Mane is prepping the release of his upcoming mixtape, ‘Trap House 3,’ due May 21.

La Flare just dropped a video for ‘Guwop,’ which features fellow ATL spitter Trinidad Jame$. Additionally, Mane teamed up with 2 Chainz on the orchestral banger, ‘Use Me.’
