George Clinton can wear whatever he wants and he has since the start of P-Funk in the 1970s. He's earned the right for his wardrobe to be exceedingly funky -- it's only fitting. Known for his colorful hairpieces, the brains behind both Parliament and Funkadelic has quite a sense of style onstage. His look is always changing -- the bandleader may wear a hat and shades at one show and at another he might trade those in for a tie-dyed poncho.

Fans never know what they'll see at a P-Funk performance. For instance, in 2009, Clinton hit the stage at the BMI Urban Awards in a floor-length cream blazer with silver appliques. He accessorized with a fitted hat, oversized red tie and metallic slouch boots. If that's not funky, we don't know what is.
