Future to Team Up With Rocko on Joint Project, Rapper Faces More Child Support Problems

Atlanta rapper Rocko was one of the first to believe in Future before anyone else in hip-hop, so much that he signed the 'Tony Montana' creator to his A1 Recordings imprint long before his omnipresence these days.

Now that Future's garnered his fair share of celebrity, the two have decided to team up for a joint project sooner than later.

On Sunday (March 24), Rocko sat with DJ Scream and Cory B for a Hoodtime Radio interview where he confirmed that he and Future would be working together on a solid body of work.

"Me and Future, we gonna do an album together," says Rocko. "We'll probably drop it at the end of the year, or the top of next year."

According to the E1 signee and A1 founder, the plan is to earn some dollars with the project's release. "As far as mixtapes, we really tryin' to flip this thing and monetize all this music now," he shares. "It's like, we gave away all this free music, for all this time, support our campaign one time."

Sounds like a plan. Future, born Nayvadius Wilburn, may want to earn a few extra ducats as his 10-year-old child's mom is planning on taking him back to family court for child support.

According to TMZ, the mother, Jessica Smith, says that Future deliberately underestimated how much income he makes monthly the last time they stood before a judge.

Smith and Future set up payments of $1,662 a month for their son based on the rapper claiming to make a sum of $16,516 per month.

Less than a week later, Smith happened to see Future on television, bragging about a $25,000 wad of cash he totes around all day, everyday.

He also emphasized that 25 stacks was the absolute minimum, so of course, Smith plans on taking him back to court. She's already gone in to refile the necessary documents invalidating their initial deal. She hopes to increase the child support as she believes he makes over $50,000 a month.
