Freeway Will Release ‘Broken Ankles’ EP With Girl Talk

In an interesting meeting of hip-hop and electronic music, rapper Freeway will release a new EP with mashup artist Girl Talk.

Rolling Stone reports that the former Roc-A-Fella Records spitter and Girl Talk debuted the first song from the EP, which is entitled ‘Broken Ankles,’ during a secret show at Brooklyn Bowl on Sat (Oct. 6).

“I’ve been working on a new EP and I decided I wanted to collaborate with one of my favorite rappers of all time,” Girl Talk said to the crowd. Free added that the EP is “gonna be crazy.”

Girl Talk has made a career of blending songs from the likes of OutKast and Jay Z with other genres,.

The release date for ‘Borken Ankles’ is yet to be announced, but more details about the project are expected shortly.
