Brooklyn's favorite Trinidadian emcee, Foxy Brown dropped her 'BK Anthem' on 2001's 'Broken Silence.' The ominous thump of the beat is perfectly matched to the content of the song.

Although Brooklyn isn't all bad, Fox Boogie was sure to break down the general feeling Brooklynites have in regard to their city -- as arrogant, pompous and mildly threatening as it may be.

"Brooklyn! The livest borough / You come here frontin', you might die in this borough / The East, the Ville', and Bed-Stuy's in this borough / Full of projects, the wildest borough," she rhymes.
