Whoa! This is some exciting news. While Kendrick Lamar was in Detroit for his good kid, m.A.A.d city tour Wednesday (April 5), he made a pitstop at Eminem's studio and chopped it up with the homie.

D-12 member and producer Denaun Porter posted a photo of himself, Royce da 5'9" and the Black Hippy crew (K.Dot, Schoolboy Q, Ab-Soul and Jay Rock) in the studio. Another picture features Em and Lamar together throwing up peace signs.

"Heck, this is almost orgasmic," tweeted one fan about the latter photo that went viral on the Internet.

There's no word if the pair recorded any songs together, although we're praying Kendrick and Em did hash out a few song ideas at the very least.

This marks Eminem's third high-profile meet-up in recent months. In April, the 'Lose Yourself' rapper was in the studio with fellow Detroit spitfire Big Sean. In May, funnyman Chris Rock tweeted a photo of himself working with Em.

"In the studio with Em don’t sleep," he wrote. When his followers asked if he's going to be on Eminem's next album, Rock said, “I was on the Kanye record ('Blame Game'), maybe I’m on the Eminem record. You never know.”

Either way, we are waiting patiently for Eminem to drop his eighth album, which doesn't have a release date yet.
