Familiar with Emeli Sande? If not, her performance on the 'Today' show earlier today offers viewers a chance to see the riveting songbird in all her glory.

The Scottish-born, London native is currently stateside performing across North America. She made a stop at the televised morning program and chatted with host Matt Lauer about singing for the closing and opening ceremonies at the London Olympic games last year and adapting to fame in the U.S.

"For me, it's like two years ago in the U.K., you know, you go to the shows and it's just that real raw excitement at the beginning when people have just found you as an artist," the 25-year-old reveals. "I love that it's a brand new challenge for me and I'm really enjoying it."

Dressed in a blue blazer and fitting black pants, she sang two songs off her debut LP, 'Our Version of Events': 'Next to Me' and 'My Kind of Love.'

'Our Version of Events' arrived last year and sold more than 1,000,000 copies in the U.K. alone. Alicia Keys co-wrote 'Hope,' which is featured on the effort. Sande also appears as a songwriter on Keys' fifth studio album, 'Girl on Fire.' She helped to pen the songs 'Brand New Me' and 'Not Even the King.'
