Remember when Emeli Sande revealed that she was inspired by the way rappers she collaborated with in the past connected with their audience? Well, now she has a new one to add to her list.

The Scottish songbird has teamed up with West Coast emcee Kendrick Lamar for a new remix of 'Next to Me,' a song featured on her debut LP, 'Our Version of Events.'

Lamar commences the track, delivering witty verses in his signature tone. "Struck by the fame bug but fightin' the same drug / The feeling that came to us in vain was tough love," he raps.

Sande continues telling the story of a man she can always rely on. "You won't find him drinking under tables / Rolling dice or staying out 'til three / You won't ever find him be unfaithful / You will find him, you'll find him next to me," she sings soulfully.

The 'good kid, m.A.A.d city' creator adds another verse on the track, asking for guidance. "Tough love, please help me / Please help me / I'm on my knees, please help me / I need you to tell me / Ain't nothing bigger than you / I thought a Benz would do, but nothing bigger than you / Ain't nothing bigger than truth."
