The great Ol' Dirty Bastard was ratchet way before ratchet became the new normal in today's hip-hop. In 1995, despite his debut album, 'Return to the 36 Chambers: The Dirty Version,' out for mass consumption, ODB was still collecting welfare checks on the regular.

The late Wu-Tang member was so bold with it that he allowed MTV's cameras to follow him into the welfare office to pick up his food stamps... in a limo! Interestingly, at the end of the video, ODB tells the cameraman, "You ain't never gonna see this kind of talent ever in your life. You'll love it." True indeed. R.I.P. ODB.
