Last night, the 'Law & Order: SVU' episode inspired by the Chris Brown and Rihanna domestic violence incident premiered on NBC, and the story looked more like a re-enactment of the controversy that occurred four years ago. Entitled 'Funny Valentine,' Wednesday night's (Feb. 27) episode looked into the relationship of Micha Charles and Caleb Bryant, who like Rihanna and Brown, were at the top of their respective music thrones and were in love -- or so we're expected to think.

Before the opening credits of the episode roll, we see the two recording a song and looking cute followed by Bryant's flirtations with a backup singer, which ends with Bryant assaulting Charles.

While Rihanna and Brown's incident in February 2009, spurred a media storm, there were more details in this episode that would make some people cringe like the actual beating.

However, what's more cringe-worthy are the details that did match the actual event like the TV interview Bryant did, which is quite similar to the one Brown did with Larry King. The 'Law & Order: SVU' episode has its own sets of twists and turns including a death.

But for anyone who has yet to see the show, watch the video below and see if you can see the similarities and differences to the real thing.
