Chris Brown Escapes Private Jet Mishap

Chris Brown had a close call Monday night (May 6) when the private jet he was traveling in became engulfed with smoke.

According to TMZ, the plane had to make an emergency landing in Los Angeles after the cockpit filled with smoke after takeoff. The pilot was able to turn the plane around and perform an emergency landing at a Burbank airport.

"It was a lot of smoke…everywhere," said a passenger who was aboard the plane.

Brown was headed to the Met Gala in New York when the private jet malfunctioned. But they don't call him Breezy for nothing.

The resilient R&B crooner hopped on another private jet within the hour after the incident and made it to the East Coast.

Unfortunately, he missed the Met Gala, but he did attend the after party.

According to the Daily Mail, Brown attended the event with a statuesque brunette by his side. No word on who Brown's date was for the night, but it looks like he's getting his swirl on.

The 'Don't Judge Me' crooner recently appeared on an Australian radio show to confirm that he and Rihanna have separated.

“I mean at the end of the day, Shawty [Rihanna] doing her own thing, she on the road...it’s always gonna be love...I’m a grown man, just gotta fast forward,” he revealed.

One thing's for sure, Brown moves fast when it comes to the ladies. But we are not hating on the player.
