We have some sad news to report. Chris Brown and Rihanna have called it quits -- again. Well, it was fun while it lasted.

The R&B crooner confirmed that his relationship with RiRi is over during an interview with an Australian radio program, the Kyle and Jackie Show. Breezy felt it was the best for them to separate since she is always touring and busy with other things in her life.

"Yeah, I'mma do it solo," he revealed about his birthday plans -- he turned 24 on May 5. "I mean at the end of the day, Shawty [Rihanna] doing her own thing, she on the road...it's always gonna be love... I'm a grown man, just gotta fast forward."

Brown has been partying with his other gal pal Karrueche Tran. The two were spotted together last Friday (May 3) at a Los Angeles theater for the singer's pre-birthday bash.

Nevertheless, Brown says Rihanna will always have his heart.

"I'm always gonna love that person. I cant be focused on wife-ing someone that young. I need to be the best Chris Brown I can be," he said.

Now before you breathe a sigh of relief over their break-up, a source told UsWeekly that their separation could be temporary.

"Of course tomorrow they could be all over each other again, but for now she's done and just living her life and touring. It's how it always is," said the source.

Isn't love grand?
