Cash Money Records Signs Singer Austin Mahone

Cash Money Records is expanding its roster and has signed teen sensation Austin Mahone.

Birdman shared the news on Twitter. "congrat chase records and AUSTIN MAHONE WELCOME to tha FAMILY...YMCMBUSINESS expanding tha LABELS," he label head tweeted.

The storied hip-hop label is currently the home to a diverse roster of talent that includes Drake, Paris Hilton and Nicki Minaj.

The singer performed during the pre-show at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards earlier this week. He scored an Artist to Watch Moonman for his ‘What About Love’ video. Mahone, a Texas native, is already an Internet sensation with songs like 'What About Love' and 'Say You're Just a Friend.'
