California rapper and rising internet star Brooke Candy isn't afraid to tell people what she thinks. So when she found out that Michigan Womyn's Music Festival was discriminating against transgender individuals, she made sure to share her opinion on the matter.

"Boycott the Michigan Womyn’s Music Festival as they have banned transgendered men/women from attending but welcome lesbian, gay, straight...," she tweeted.

Her rant continued, "People are so f---ing disgusting seriously. Ignorance is not bliss ignorance is filth."

The festival "is intended for womyn who at birth were deemed female, who were raised as girls, and who identify as womyn. I believe that womyn-born womyn (WBW) is a lived experience that constitutes its own distinct gender identity," according to its founder.

There has been other protests against the event. Despite this, it will still take place at the Michigan Woodlands in August.
