Back in 2008, Rick Ross and Birdman recorded songs for an album that, for unknown reasons, didn't get released. Now Rozay and Baby have announced that their shelved album will be released as a mixtape called 'The H: The Lost Album, Vol. 1.'

In a video by filmmaker Derrick G, the MMG and YMCMB bosses talk about their upcoming project. “We did so much music and we’ve just been sitting on it," said Ross. "Stunna just hit me like, 'Man, let’s go and feed the streets with that.'"

"We recorded it in 2008. That mothaf---a's a classic," adds Birdman.

DJ Khaled will serve as host on the mixtape. No additional information was provided regarding the songs or if there are any guest features on it.

Birdman told HipHopDX that he and Ross recorded music for the project in record time. "We recorded 40 songs in less than 10 days," he said. Rozay added, "We'd go to the studio, bang out five, six, seven records, then go shoot us some s---, jump in the Rolls Royce and swerve."

Rick Ross and Birdman's collaborative mix tape, 'The H: The Lost Album, Vol. 1.,' will hit the Internet on May 23.
