Big Sean is finally famous, so the G.O.O.D Music rapper released a mixtape in September 2012, paying homage to his hometown.

The effort offers anecdotes from hip-hop veterans such as Common and Snoop Lion, who reminisce on how Detroit played a part in their careers despite being from different cities.

Mr. Oh Gawd also has features from J. Cole, French Montana, and Jhene Aiko while producers Key Wane, Millian Mano, and Hit Boy craft beats.

The mixtape, which features 'Higher' -- he reminisces on being broke doing college tours with Wale to standing off the French coast with Diddy -- and his money-driven ode 'Mula,' stands as the perfect segue to his upcoming sophomore set, 'Hall of Fame.'
