Rapper Big Boi is getting ready to hit the road next month for his 45-city Shoes for Running Tour.

The trek kicks off in Athens, Ga., his home state, and ends in Boston. He will make his footprints from the East to the West Coast for the remainder of spring.

The rapper hasn't had a tour in almost two years. He revealed to Rolling Stone magazine that fellow Georgia emcee Killer Mike will be opening for him during the tour. Mike is featured on Big Boi's latest album, 'Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors,' on the track 'Thom Pettie.'

"It'll be a nice block of Killer Mike and Big just killing s---," Big Boi says. "We're gonna do just about all the records that me and him recorded together."

Fans may also be surprised by Kid Cudi, T.I. and other artists that could possibly grace the stage since they're also featured on Big Boi's album, released in December 2011. The rapper didn't disclose any guarantees but he is leaving it open to to see what may happen.

"There's a possibility that they'll pop up onstage this tour. "Oh, definitely!" Big Boi says. "Depending on who's in the vicinity."
