2 Chainz deserves the 2012 Most Valuable Player of the Year award. This year alone, he made guest appearances on over 40 songs. And when he wasn't on your favorite rapper's hit single, 2 Chainz dropped his own club anthems like the ubiquitous 'No Lie' featuring Drake.

It's hard to believe that 'Based on a T.R.U. Story' is his first solo album since coming in the game with Playaz Circle in 1997. Well, better late than never.

There's not much of a story to tell on the album except for Deuce likes to get turnt up. Listen to his unadulterated enthusiasm on 'I Luv Dem Strippers' and his boastful ways on 'I'm Different' to get a clue.

He notched his first No. 1 album with 'B.O.A.T.S.' After years of making a name for himself -- twice! -- in the rap game, it's a well-deserved achievement. And that's no lie-ee-i-ee-i.
