Authorities in Winnfield, La., have issued an arrest warrant for a 36-year-old convicted felon who allegedly shot Lil Snupe last Thursday (June 20).

According to the Shreveport Times, Winnfield police have identified Tony D. Holden as the suspect in connection to the incident. He’s being sought under three arrest warrants: one count each of first-degree murder, armed robbery and illegal possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Authorities say that Lil Snupe, real name Addarren Ross, was shot at least twice in his torso during an argument with Holden outside of the Maplewood Apartments in Winnfield. The 18-year-old rapper was pronounced dead on the scene by Winn Parish coroner’s investigators.

“We are told they were betting on a video game,” Winnfield police Lt. Charles Curry told the Shreveport Times. “Supposedly he (Holden) robbed him (Ross) of money.”

Police are still looking for Holden, who is considered armed and dangerous.

Lil Snupe was a promising rap artist on Meek Mill‘s Dreamchasers record label.

According to MTV News, Lil Snupe was poised to make his debut on Rick Ross‘ upcoming Maybach Music Group compilation, ‘Self Made, Vol. 3.’

Mill recently posted a text conversation between him and Snupe on his Instagram page.

“Rozay want you 2 send a heater 4 self made 3 ….. Some fire….. No sample…. This can b ya first time on a big album,” Mill wrote to Snupe on June 9. “He said single type s—….. Here’s ya shot.”

Snupe responded back, “On Some Real S— Bruh Thank You 4 Just Giving Me The opportunity 2 Do My Thang. You Really Changed A N—- Life Mane.”

Rest in peace, Lil Snupe.
