Angie Miller Sent Home, Mariah Carey Urges Her to Finish Performance on ‘American Idol’
Angie Miller was sent home last night in a surprising 'American Idol' twist that left everyone, including the remaining contestant Kree Harrison, in a big shock.
When the news was announced, Nicki Minaj shot out of her seat with her mouth agape, then turned to the audience, with a pointed finger as if to say, "I told you so."
We suspect that was directed at "Kreedom's" family, who then rose along with others in the audience to applaud for the 'Idol' finalist.
Angie sang her final song, Colton Dixon's 'Never Gone,' all while being choked up with tears. Mariah Carey gave support, helping her to finish from the judge's table.
Next week, Candice Glover and Kree Harrison will compete for the 'American Idol' crown in the finale.
