Last night on 'American Idol,' we saw a softer side of the Top 4 contestants, who visited sick children at Children's Hospital Los Angeles.

The tender 'Idol' moment was interrupted when Nicki Minaj brought the hood to the judge's table and threw down on Kree Harrison, nearly leaving the 'Idol' contestant in tears. Nicki threw an expletive like a dagger at the poor girl, who sang Susan Tedeschi's 'It Hurts So Bad.'

Amber Holcomb also sang, serving two standout performances and receiving a standing ovation for her rendition of Jimmy Webb's 'MacArthur Park.'

Candice Glover, who dedicated the night's performance to the kids she met at Children's Hospital Los Angeles while on a visit, looked absolutely as always. She sang a jazzy version of Drake's 'Find Your Love,' which received mixed reviews from the judges.

"Now I don't have to say every week that you have an amazing voice," Nicki Minaj  told Candice. "But I don't want people to start thinking you're an old-fashioned artist."

Randy Jackson agreed with Nicki saying, "It can't always sound like you're in church."

After Kree took to the stage to perform 'It Hurts So Bad,' the judge's critiques became even more harsh. Simply put, Minaj pummeled the 'Idol' hopeful with some pretty harsh words.

Angie Miller's show-stopping performances of 'Who You Are' and 'Cry Me a River' stole the show, forcing Randy Jackson to exclaim, "She's in it to win it!" Angie even stood up to Candice Glover in a vocal showdown during a powerful duet of Rihanna's hit single 'Stay.'
