Amber Holcomb’s ‘What Are You Doing the Rest of Your Life’ Performance May Save Her From ‘American Idol’ Elimination
Amber Holcomb has landed in the bottom two at every 'American Idol' judging for the past few weeks and after her initial performance of Mariah Carey's 'Without You,' it was almost certain that she would be the next contestant to be eliminated. She was criticized harshly and left everyone thinking, "This girl should've never sang a Mariah song!"
By the time she took to the stage to sing Barbra Streisand's 'What Are You Doing the Rest of Your Life,' the audience was obviously tense from her first epic fail. But the 'American Idol' hopeful redeemed herself and got an outstanding review from Nicki Minaj. "Every note was on point," she told her. This performance may be Amber's only saving grace.
