After four months of litigation, Alicia Keys has settled a lawsuit with 1960′s songwriter Earl Shurman.

In December, Keys was sued by Shurman for allegedly using copyrighted material from the 1962 tune, ‘Lonely Boy,’ which he penned with Leon Carr. While details surrounding the complaint that was filed in California federal court weren’t revealed, Keys’ song was very similar to the intonation of ‘Lonely Boy’ when she sings the words, “lonely girl.”

Earlier this month, both parties announced that the two have come to a settlement; however, no specifics were released.
