99: Willow Smith – Powerful Women of 2013

She may still be a few years away from womahood, but Willow Smith is a force to be reckoned with.

Signed to Jay-Z’s Roc Nation label, Smith set the tone for her career with the release of ‘Whip My Hair’ in 2010. She was soon scooped up to open for Justin Bieber’s European tour and then collaborated with Nicki Minaj on ‘Fireball.’

Smith isn’t just a singer but also an actress. She’s appeared in various film and TV projects since 2007, including ‘I Am Legend’ alongside her dad, Will Smith.

Doing all of this before turning 13 is quite an accomplishment and is only the beginning for the youngest female on this list.
