Once Lil Mama's song, 'Lipgloss,' starts playing, it becomes one of those tracks that quickly get stuck in your head all day.

That infectious song aside, she's gone from a potential one hit wonder to an artist that can redefine herself time and time again -- even though she's only been in the business for less than a decade.

Signed to Jive Records in 2006, her debut album, 'VYP (Voice of the Young People),' not only broke the top 25 on the Billboard 200 chart but also produced four hit tracks including 'G-Slide (Tour Bus),' 'Shawty Get Loose,' featuring T-Pain and Chris Brown, 'What It Is (Strike a Pose)' and 'Lipgloss.' After moving from Jive to RCA, Mama is currently working on her sophomore album. Brown, LoLa Monroe, Nas and Trina are just some of the artists who are reportedly being featured on the record.

Mama has also spent some time on the small screen as one of the judges on MTV's 'American's Best Dance Crew.' She has also recently signed on to play the late Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes in the upcoming TLC biopic on VH1.
