Although she originally wanted to be a sports journalist, Jessie Ware put her reporting dreams aside once indie rocker Jack Penate introduced her to a producer -- there was no looking back after that.

She started off doing back up vocals for Penate but soon was in the studio working on her debut album, 'Devotion,' which released in the U.K., in 2012.

Slowly gaining a presence in the U.S., the songstress released an EP, 'If You're Never Gonna Move,' in January. 'Devotion' is her first solid album, which debuted last year in her native U.K., and arrived this year stateside. The effort features a new version of 'Wildest Moments' that will feature A$AP Rocky.

With a soulful sound and promising start, this universal songbird is poised for a major musical takeover.
