2 Chainz Arrested in Maryland, Poses for Photo With Police Officers

2 Chainz had a run-in with the law in Maryland, but what he did afterward adds to his mystique of why he's just different. The Atlanta rapper was arrested Thursday (Feb. 14) in the state for possession of marijuana, which was found during a traffic stop.

According to the Baltimore Sun, authorities pulled over a white Ford van at 10:20 p.m. Deuce and several occupants were inside the vehicle. After a search, police discovered drugs and paraphernalia on the rapper.

The 'Based on a T.R.U. Story' creator was charged and later released with just a citation. But here is where it gets odd. After his release, 2 Chainz took a picture with two unidentified state troopers and posted it on Instagram. "Locked me up and then Wanted pictures smh," he wrote under the photo.

We don't know if the two officers were 2 Chainz fans, but, apparently, the head brass wasn't too happy with the photo opp. According to a police spokesperson, an investigation is underway over the circumstances surrounding the photo being taken.

Granted, it does seem a little strange -- police make an arrest, book 'em and then do a photo shoot. But, like we said before, 2 Chainz is just... different.
